About
Emma Plunkett presents to you water colour paintings from 2008 through to 2010. Please make yourself comfortable, have a drink, relax and enjoy looking through the website in your own time and contemplate what the paintings mean to you. When you think about the pictures afterwards, loose time looking into them or talk about them, then it completes the mission, the process of making and sharing them, with you as the viewer. If you can’t live without owning one, then visit the shop to see if the original is available or a signed print. The content of the picture is of main importance, if it speaks to you and you connect with it, if it brings you happiness, then why not purchase it? Enjoy peppering your and other people’s lives with the things that you love and the things that bring you happiness!
I’ve enjoyed painting water colours on and off since I was a child. These works represent my recent phase of experiments into softness. I find it quite raw, showing my delicate side and femininity without any hardness to balance it. I really relax and loose myself while painting, it really makes me happy. My work mirrors back to me what my feelings cannot describe. I love being creative and seeing what comes out of me.
